Research Summary

The Bioanalytical Mass Spectrometry Facility supports dozens of research efforts both at Georgia Tech and nationwide. We provide analyses at the molecular level, which may be used for the identification, structure determination, and quantitation of a wide variety of biological or inorganic molecules. Our Facility houses a total of six (6) instruments, three (3) of which are state-of-the-art tandem mass spectrometers. These instruments are capable of numerous ionization and scanning techniques, and may be used in conjunction with nano to analytical scale chromatography for separation and analysis of complex mixtures of biological samples. In addition, the Facility Director and Senior Technician have over 40 years combined mass spectrometry experience.
